Select the construction job to edit and click Edit.

Update the fields on the Job form. Values for Material Burden, Labor Burden, Low Risk Burden, Regular Risk, Low Risk, General Administration, PerDiem and Labor Rates for Design, Fabrication, Field and Underground are pulled from the default settings on the Setup form.

Click New or Edit on the Job form to add or change an estimate. Several estimates make a job. Defaults are pulled from the settings you set on the Job form. Add detail lines for each part or assembly made up of several parts. You can change the standard material cost and labor hours for each of these lines.

Click Adjust on the Estimate form to adjust the hours, material or set a factor for the portion of the total used by this type of labor. These adjustments let you see the effect of changes quickly so you can plan for worst case or most likely scenarios.
