System Form. Monthly the corporate financial analyst updates each region’s actual sales figures and goals. She uses the system menu to split the corporate data into regions and zip the files. She sends each region’s data to the Regional Sales Manager as an email attachment. She also sends each division a consolidated set of data for the regions in their division. The region confirms past data and adjusts forecasts. When the region returns data to the corporate analyst, she uses the system menu to extract only the data the region is authorized to change and merges it into the corporate estimate. Corporate management is able to analyze the consolidated data using the same tools that the region used. The application is written in Access 97 with an Access 97 back end.
